TORONTO — The United Nations estimates that more than half of the world’s population will experience severe shortages of freshwater by 2025. In light of these freshwater forecasts and challenges, several Ryerson University researchers worked together to develop a financial evaluation process to identify which water-sector companies are likely to stay afloat and which ones are likely to sink in a worldwide financial crisis.
