Structural Steel Prices Pause After Strong Gains

following monthly declines of 0.1% the previous month and 1.5% last November.
This string of declines
helped drop the average price for these three products to a 5.2% annual
rate of increase. This is down from a 13.2% annual rate of increase
during January 2006. Stainless steel prices jumped 5% this month and
are 26% above a year ago.
