Thematic Pavilion ‘One Ocean’ for EXPO 2012 in Yeosu, South Korea, by Viennese practice SOMA, after winning an open International competition in 2009, is finally complete.

 

Alumasc Creates Green Space at Belfast Metropolitan College

Hydrotech MM6125 Structural Waterproofing and a ZinCo Green Roof system from Alumasc have been successfully used on the new £44 million campus of Belfast Metropolitan College. The project recently won Environmental project of the Year at the Sustainable Ireland Awards 2011 and has achieved one of the top BREEAM ratings.

The ‘Express rail link West Kowloon Terminus’ is centrally positioned within urban Hong Kong and designed by international practice Aedas. It functions as a transit center for a high speed railway which travels between Hong Kong and Beijing. It is within a 430,000 square meter facility which will host 15 tracks creating the biggest underground terminal in the world.
