How to turn the key board side ways on an iphone?

I am looking for a phone that I download applications for like the Iphone (needs to be at&t). Can anybody recommend some phones that have this functionality, and do you have to pay for the applications. Thanks.

YES you can! believe me.
In order for the texts to be sideways is IF ONLY your iphone is jailbroken. You can download the program called IrealSMS for the vertical texting.

There is a application from ITUNES that allows you to email vertically, hopefully they will sooner or later come out with a program thats compatible for the texting!
