INTRODUCTION
============
The technologies for wireless networks, such as cellular networks, satellite, Wi-Fi, WiMAX, wireless sensor networks (WSNs), wireless personal area networks (WPANs), wireless local area networks (WLANs), and wireless metropolitan area networks (WMANs) have evolved quickly during the past years. As the wireless network traffic is constantly growing at an alarming rate, wireless multimedia applications will dominate the future wireless communication society pointing to the crucial need for the integration of different wireless technologies that emerges as an effective approach to accommodate the increasing demand of users to communicate with each other and access the Internet.
This workshop will bring together computer scientists and engineers in different disciplines to share and exchange their experiences and ideas and discuss state-of-the-art and in-progress research on all aspects of heterogeneous wireless networks.
The topics of particular interest include, but are not limited to:

PAPER SUBMISSION GUIDELINE
==========================
Prospective authors are invited to submit manuscripts reporting original unpublished research and recent developments in the topics related to the workshop. The length of the papers should not exceed 8 printed pages (IEEE Computer Society Proceedings Manuscripts style: two columns, single-spaced, 10-point font), including figures and references.

Papers should be submitted electronically in PDF format only by sending it as an e-mail attachment to y.l.wu@brad.ac.uk
All papers will be peer reviewed and the comments will be provided to the authors. Once accepted, the paper will be included into the IEEE conference proceedings published by IEEE Computer Society Press (indexed by EI). Authors (at least one) of any accepted paper are requested to register at the conference.
***Distinguished selected papers accepted and presented in HMWN-2010, after further extensions, will be published in ScalCom-2010's special issues of the following prestigious SCI-indexed journal:
